PETE&C launched its awards program in 2019 to recognize outstanding contributions to educational technology. We encourage you to nominate a colleague, or yourself, for consideration by November 1, 2026. Who's Eligible for PETE&C Awards?

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR - Any person doing unique or outstanding work to innovate in the educational technology field.

TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR - Any administrator who encourages or facilitates innovation and/or leadership in the use of technology in their school or LEA.

TECHNOLOGY STUDENT OF THE YEAR - Any student in grades 6-12 doing unique or outstanding work to promote or participate in educational technology endeavors. Teachers are encouraged to nominate their students and share the awards information with them.

Additional requirements:

Submit the completed application by November 1 (by either the applicant or nominator). The application must clearly outline the nominee’s educational background, key achievements in technology innovation and/or leadership, and how they have advanced the use of technology in school settings.
Include required supporting materials: two (2) letters of recommendation and an essay. These components are essential to provide a comprehensive view of the nominee’s accomplishments, impact, and overall contribution to educational technology.
