Conference Highlights

For 2025, PETE&C will be making some minor changes to the layout and location of certain sessions and events. The Esports Experience and Playgrounds will now be held in the back middle of the Exhibit Hall, and four of our Summits will remain at the Hotel Hershey with new topics, while the Cybersecurity Summit will be held at the Hershey Lodge on Wednesday. We want to streamline your conference experience and create a more immersive atmosphere, and we're achieving both of those goals with a more creative use of both the session rooms and the Hotel and Lodge space.

What else is happening at PETE&C:

• PETE&C Summits: PETE&C is proud to announce that Summits at the Hotel Hershey will be back again for year two! Summits focus on a concentrated, innovative, and future-focused topics, which will begin with a 30 minute keynote. Following the keynote, participants will have up to 16 sessions to choose from on that same topic.
• Playgrounds: This year will feature two playground topics; Create and Play in these interactive and collaborative experiences. Playgrounds are designed as spaces where you can get hands on with presenters. They are small, informal workstations setup in the back of the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday. Drop in, get hands on, and enjoy these immersive opportunities!!
• Flexible Learning Space: This space will be held in Cocoa 1. Come see sessions that take place in a specially designed and furnished flexible space. Join PETE&C and partner Fluxspace as we share what a future of education space looks like. You can learn and participate!
• Affinity Groups: Join these intimate discussions designed specifically for meaningful sharing. Network and build long-term relationships, while sharing your unique perspectives.
• Birds of a Feather Sessions:  These sessions center around a topic and feature an opportunity to connect, discuss and network around that topic.
• PETE&C Workshops: Longer than regular sessions, Workshops can involve interactive exercises, group discussions, program certifications, and more. Program-specific representatives provide learning opportunities through demonstrations and facilitated discussions.
• Wellness Focus: Look for special sessions related to a focus on YOUR personal wellbeing, as well as Yoga sessions on Monday and Tuesday morning!
• PA Invention Convention: This event has been hosted at PETE&C for multipe years, and in 2025, it will again be located at the Hershey Lodge! Stop by Wednesday morning in the White Room (part of the Exhibit Hall) to see the innovative, creative, and timely projects that PA students have invented. PAIC is co-sponsored by PETE&C and the PA Instructional Media Services (PAIU PAIMS).
