While AI’s rapid expansion has fueled both skepticism and concern—particularly in education where issues of safety and privacy loom large—it also presents an extraordinary opportunity to rethink teaching. Beyond mere efficiency, AI and emerging technologies hold the potential to fundamentally reshape not only how and what we teach but also to bring to life a holistic approach to educating the "whole child." This session will dive into these possibilities, inviting an optimistic vision for the future of education and a reimagining of our approach to learning in the age of AI.

Learning Evolution: the New Era of AI in the Classroom
The rapid rise of generative AI will have a dramatic impact on how we teach and learn. "AI-enhanced" learning means gone are the days of focusing on a single product to measure student growth. Responsible and ethical use of AI in education should be a primary focus of schools going forward from grades K-20. In this interactive keynote, we'll discuss the ethical ramifications of AI and look at examples of how using AI in the classroom can actually encourage deeper learning and understanding. After all, learning is more about the process than the product.

The Power of Belonging
Equity, access, language, community, and the power of belonging are showcased to remind us of the foundations for a safe student environment. William’s incredibly impactful message is vital for ALL educators to witness so they can connect back to their “WHY” and truly grasp the power of their words and actions on EVERY child.
