Program

Throughout Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, you have the opportunity to attend concurrent sessions, which offer a variety of topics in the world of technology. These hour-long sessions are jam-packed with information to take back to your LEA.

OPENING KEYNOTE - MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24
	MATT MILLER THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MEMORABLE TEACHING Your beliefs about education shape your classroom. They affect your lessons and impact student motivation. A disastrous lesson changed Matt Miller's beliefs about his role in education, and it's likely to change yours, too. This keynote is full of stories to reach your heart and surprise twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. In the end, it will make you think about your purpose as a teacher and inspire you!

	GERRY BROOKS CLIMATE AND CULTURE. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. We will focus on positive climate and culture as an individual person which affects every aspect of our job.
CLOSING KEYNOTE - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26
	JORDON ROONEY SOCIAL IMPACT IN THE DIGITAL AGE The shift in modern media has changed the way we are influenced and how we consume information. With over 80% of the US population now using at least one social media platform, this is what I call “The New Normal”. However, this shift in media has come naturally for attention seekers and the controversial. We’ve seen a rise in negativity and misinformation. This has caused resistance from the smart and rational when it comes to using social media. Positive individuals are shying away from using digital platforms to share their thoughts and opinions, when their voices are needed the most. We’ve also seen resistance in terms of the empowerment towards youth amplifying their voice online.
