HISTORY
In February 2004, over 1500 participants attended the inaugural Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo & Conference, a statewide technology symposium designed to meet the needs of all aspects of 21st Century education!
This landmark event was the collaborative result of five groups, Pennsylvania Education Technology Conference (PETC), Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO), Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology (PAECT), Pennsylvania Intermediate Unit Instructional Materials Services Directors (PAIU IMS Directors), and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), sharing a collective vision of a single educational technology experience for everyone involved or interested in education in the Commonwealth.
However, while the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo & Conference is reflective of the respective resources and expertise of its founding members, it is the participation and contributions of its partners and sponsors that allow PETE&C to be a truly comprehensive venue for educators, administrators, and other stakeholders faced with the challenges of education in a new millennium.
